斯里兰卡国际中文电视台成都消息（编辑/枫杨）9月15日，成都信息工程大学副校长何建新与斯里兰卡科特市市长马杜拉·维塔纳奇、助理罗伯特·卡塔狄格、斯里兰卡中方国际顾问周丽莎、斯里兰卡国际中文电视台台长刘继明、台长助理彭博一行举行会谈。国际交流与合作处处长何嘉、副处长何源出席。

ICTV Chengdu News（Editor / Maple Poplar）On September 15th, He Jianxin, Vice President of Chengdu University of Information Technology, Madhura Vithanage, Mayor of Kotte City in Sri Lanka, Robert Kattadige, Assistant of the Mayor, Lisa chue Sri Lankan International Consultant to China, Liu Jiming, Director of Sri Lanka International Chinese TV Station and Bob Peng, Assistant of the Director held talks. He Jia, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and He Yuan, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office both attended the meeting.

何建新副校长对马杜拉市长一行表示欢迎，并向其介绍了我校历史和大气科学、电子通讯、计算机科学、经济管理和统计科学等相关专业人才培养情况，以及我校国际人才培养情况。

Vice President He Jianxin welcomed Mayor Madhura and his party. He then introduced them about the history of our university and the training condition of relevant majors such as atmospheric science, electronic communication, computer science, economic management and statistics, as well as the international personnel training.

马杜拉市长对斯里兰卡经济发展和人才培养等情况进行了介绍，认为我校专业能为斯里兰卡培育出急需人才，并非常欢迎我校参与斯里兰卡人才培养和经济建设。何建新副校长希望在市长的推动下，与斯方相关机构在教育、科技、气象等领域开展合作。

Mayor Madhura introduced Sri Lanka’s status of the economic development and personnel training. He believed that the majors of our university can cultivate urgently needed talents for Sri Lanka and welcomed us to participate in the training of talents and economic construction in Sri Lanka. Vice President He Jianxin hoped that under the impetus of the mayor, the university could cooperate with Sri Lanka’s relevant institutions in the fields including education, science and technology, and meteorology etc.

此次会见，是我校在国家一带一路大政策下推动建立“丝路学院”的新起点。

This meeting is a new starting point for our university to promote the establishment of the "Silk Road Academy" under the national policy of the Belt and Road Initiative.

作为成都信息工程大学“丝路学院”筹备成员，斯里兰卡国际中文电视台台长刘继明表示：今天的会谈具有里程碑意义，以后我们会依托国际中文电视台的资源，促进中国与斯里兰卡在教育、科技转化、贸易、旅游方面更多的交流，增进互信，促进互赢合作。

As a preparatory member of the Silk Road Academy of Chengdu University of Information Technology, Liu Jiming, the director of Sri Lanka International Chinese TV Station, said: Today's talks are a milestone. In the future, we will rely on the resources of International Chinese TV station to promote more communication within education, technology transfer, trade and tourism between China and Sri Lanka, which aims to strengthen mutual trust, mutual benefit and cooperation.
