斯里兰卡国际中文电视台 科伦坡讯（晓華） 9月30日晚，象征中国—斯里兰卡传统友谊的纪念班达拉奈克国际会议中心（BMICH，简称“班厦”）灯火通明，中国驻斯里兰卡大使程学源及夫人邹粤翠携驻斯使馆全体馆员，举行招待会，热烈庆祝中华人民共和国成立70周年。斯里兰卡总统西里塞纳、总理维克拉马辛哈、议长贾亚苏里亚、反对党领袖及前总统拉贾帕克萨、各主要政党领袖、部长、议员、三军司令、司法机构负责人，以及在斯华人华侨、中资机构、中国驻斯媒体、文化机构、留学生代表以及驻斯各国使节及友好人士近800人参加。

程学源大使在致辞中以详实的数据介绍了新中国成立70年来，中国共产党领导全国各族人民筚路蓝缕、开拓进取、奋力拼搏所取得的伟大成就。特别是党的十八大以来，党和国家各项事业取得全方位、开创性成就，发生深层次、根本性变革，带领中国人民向着“两个一百年”奋斗目标和中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦宏伟蓝图砥砺奋进、阔步前行。
程大使表示，中国的发展离不开世界，世界的发展也需要中国。习近平主席提出“一带一路”倡议，倡导新型国家关系和政党关系，构建“人类命运共同体”，在全球治理体系变革中贡献了中国智慧，展现了大国担当。
In his speech, Ambassador Cheng Xueyuan introduced the great achievements with detailed data during the 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, which were made by the Chinese people of all nationalities across the country with pioneering and hard-work spirit under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.Especially from the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the party and the state have achieved all-round and pioneering achievements and deep and fundamental changes have taken place. Under the party’ leadership, Chinese people are struggling and striding forward the great blueprint of Two Centenary goals and Chinese Dream of great nation’s rejuvenation.
Ambassador Cheng said that China's development couldn’t be separated from the world, and the development of the world also needed China. President Xi Jinping proposed the Belt and Road Initiative to advocate new types of state relations and political party relations, with an attempt to establish a community with a shared future for mankind. It contributed Chinese wisdom in the transformation of the global governance system and demonstrated the responsibilities as a major power.

China was willing to work with the Sri Lankan side to promote the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative to a deepen and solidified direction, and jointly built a community of destiny between China and Sri Lanka, which can continued to benefit the two countries and the people.
